Oppo Reno 5 series launches on December 10, here’s what to expect
Oppo’s next Reno smartphone series could launch on December 10. The company has announced a new event for the launch of the Star Diamond Rejuvenation Series for December 10, which is likely the Reno 5 series.
The Oppo Reno 5 series is expected to feature the Reno 5, Reno 5 Pro, and Reno 5 Pro. The Oppo teaser doesn’t specify the Reno 5 series, but with smartphones leaking quite often, it is highly likely. According to a leak from IT specialist Digital Chat Station, Oppo will offer two Reno 5 smartphones with a curved screen, and the other with a flat screen. The three smartphones would also be equipped with a perforated camera.
In terms of specs, Oppo Reno 5 could have a 6.43-inch Full HD display with a 90Hz refresh rate and a 4300mAh battery. It’s said to house a tri-camera setup with a 64-megapixel primary sensor, an 8-megapixel secondary sensor, and two 2-megapixel sensors.
Oppo Reno 5 Pro will likely feature a larger 6.55-inch screen and a 4350mAh battery. The smartphone is said to offer the same camera specs as the Reno 5. It should also run on MediaTek’s Dimensity 1000+ processor.
The top-end Reno 5 Pro Plus is rumored to be powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 865 processor and a 4,500mAh battery. It could also accommodate a 50-megapixel main sensor with a 16-megapixel sensor, a 12-megapixel sensor and a 2-megapixel sensor. The smartphone will most likely have the same display size as the Reno 5 Pro.
